Ready-Mix Driver (Assiniboia, SK) (Birsay)

Ready Mix Drivers are responsible for the primary day‑to‑day delivery of Ready Mix Concrete at a job site located near Assiniboia, SK. Position starts near the end of June and continues through October. Amrize provides lodging and a $50 per day leave of absence.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Maintain equipment by performing daily pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and keeping equipment clean inside and out.
• Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers in the assigned geography.
• Own the satisfaction of customers at all times.
• Provide consistent and reliable customer service through delivery.
• Ensure a positive, hassle‑free delivery experience for Amrize’s customers.
• Maintain strong working relationships with Logistics, Operations and fellow operators.
• Participate in Amrize Ready Mix Training Program.
• Operate electronic devices (tablets, GPS, etc.).
• Commit to communication, improvement and adherence to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Promote and exhibit a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Preference for candidates with construction and heavy equipment experience.
• Understanding of the building materials industry is an asset.
• Valid Class3Q (Air Brakes) or Class1Q driver abstract.

• Flexible schedule; may work different shifts and weekends.
• Ability to lift >50lb.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with electronic devices such as tablets.
• Relationship‑building with external customers and internal Amrize personnel.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced workplace.
• Strong sense of teamwork.
• Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize‑approved PPE.
• If required to wear respirators, must keep the face area clean shaven for fit tests.
