Amrize Construction is hiring a Seasonal Grademan in Saskatoon, SK. This full-time seasonal role involves performing various manual labor duties on construction sites, including checking grades, minor truck and equipment maintenance, and completing pre and post-trip inspections. The Grademan will also assist with site cleanup and other tasks as needed while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Conduct minor truck and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Check grades on construction sites to ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Clean up sites, including shoveling, raking, and sweeping.
  • Assist with other labor duties as required to support the team.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: Experience in checking grades and hauling trailers.
  • Training/Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of construction practices is an asset.
  • Travel Requirements: Frequent travel between job sites within the City of Saskatoon and surrounding areas.
  • Additional Requirements: Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including crouching, bending, lifting, and kneeling. Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of construction practices. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved PPE.
