Our client, a picturesque resort on the South Devon coast, is looking for a talented and committed Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry section and join their friendly, established kitchen team.
The role
You will manage, mentor and lead the pastry team, creating seasonal dessert menus and overseeing daily production, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Keeping an eye on stock and costs, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to keep standards high. The rota is five days out of seven. This is a fantastic opportunity for a pastry chef who is serious about their craft.

About you
Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef in a high-volume, quality-focused establishment
Confident leading, training and inspiring a team
Good knowledge of stock control, GP management, food safety and allergens
A flexible, positive attitude and strong communication skills
Reliable transport, as the resort is in a remote location
