Are you an experienced Sous Chef, ready to join a growing and exciting project? We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in managing and supplying our multi-outlet food operations, delivering exceptional dishes, and shaping the future of our menus.

Up to £35,000 Tronc. Live-in available. Free Parking. Uniform provided. Supportive leadership team and autonomy to build your kitchen culture.

About the Role: As Sous Chef, you will oversee all aspects of your area in kitchen management, including:

  • Menu Development: Create and present dishes to the specified standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and develop any junior members of the team.
  • Stock & Cost Control: Assist with stock systems, monitor waste and GP targets.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure food safety, hygiene, and maintain a 5-star rating.
  • Operational Excellence: Produce food in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a leader in the team kitchen.
  • Manage stock using our new system (Polaris Quantum experience is a plus).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
  • Support and collaborate with the Head Chef, General Manager, and Front of House team for seamless service.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Expertise in food safety, cost control, and multi-outlet operations.
