The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role with responsibility across:

  • Major UK Retailers
  • Foodservice & QSR Customers
  • B2B Food Manufacturing Accounts

You'll work closely with the Commercial Director and wider leadership team to drive profitable growth, identify new opportunities and strengthen customer partnerships across the portfolio. The role also includes line management responsibility for one direct report, making it an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial leader looking to broaden their influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies across Retail, QSR and B2B channels
  • Manage and grow key customer relationships
  • Lead commercial negotiations and annual business planning processes
  • Deliver revenue, margin and volume growth targets
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and category expansion
  • Work closely with NPD, Technical, Operations and Supply Chain teams
  • Manage and develop one Commercial team member
  • Analyse market trends, customer performance and category opportunities
  • Support the ongoing growth and development of the commercial function

About You

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Proven commercial experience within food manufacturing
  • Experience managing major customer accounts within the food sector
  • Strong understanding of retailer, foodservice, QSR or B2B food manufacturing channels
  • Demonstrable success delivering sales growth and commercial performance
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing customer P&Ls and commercial agreements
