Regional Operations Manager
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne / Sunderland
Salary: From £48,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Working Pattern: Full-time, office/field based

About the Role
On behalf of my client, I am seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to take responsibility for the operational performance of a regional property portfolio.
This is a senior leadership role, managing and developing a team of Senior Property Managers and Property Managers while ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, resident satisfaction and operational performance .
The successful candidate will be confident leading teams, managing performance, identifying operational improvements and working collaboratively across maintenance, compliance, lettings and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational performance of a regional property portfolio.
- Manage, coach and develop Property Managers and Senior Property Managers.
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, compliance and overall operational performance.
- Ensure statutory property compliance requirements are met.
- Oversee escalated resident complaints and complex tenancy matters.
- Manage contractor and supplier performance.
- Conduct property inspections and operational reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Support the mobilisation of new properties and portfolio growth.
- Produce performance reports and provide updates to senior management.
- Work closely with Maintenance, Compliance, QA, Lettings and Finance teams.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a senior property management or operations role.
- Strong residential property management knowledge.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Good understanding of property compliance and legislation.
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and commercially aware approach.
- The ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities.
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
