Head Damp Surveyor / Damp Surveyor Manager

Our client is a leading damp proofing and property care company, operating across London, the South East, and the Midlands who pride themselves on delivering high-quality surveys, expert diagnosis, and professional remedial work for their clients.

They are seeking an experienced and driven Head Damp Surveyor / Damp Surveyor Manager to lead our surveying team, drive sales, and ensure the highest standards of reporting and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, train, and support a team of damp surveyors.

Carry out detailed damp, timber, and mould surveys using a range of tools, including thermal imaging.

Produce clear, professional, and accurate reports with recommendations for remedial works.

Oversee quality standards across all surveys and ensure compliance with company processes.

Work closely with sales, operations, and project teams to ensure smooth handover from survey to works.

Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities and improving surveyor efficiency.

Represent the company professionally with both residential and commercial clients.

Key Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in damp proofing, surveying, or property care.

Strong knowledge of rising damp, penetrating damp, condensation, timber decay, and waterproofing systems.

Proven ability to manage and develop a team.

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Strong report writing ability with attention to detail.

Sales-driven with experience converting surveys into remedial works.

Full UK driving licence.
