An established independent firm in the Berkshire area is seeking a Property Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for the full management of a portfolio of properties and will be pivotal in the smooth running of the department.
Duties to include:
- Dealing with enquiries.
- Arranging maintenance on a portfolio of managed properties.
- Keeping up to date with current legislation.
- Liaise with landlords and negotiate with contractors.
- Ensure properties have gas safety certificates and comply with current legislation.
- Arrange and carry out property inspections.
- Manage tenancy renewals.
- Referencing.
- General administration.
The ideal candidate for this role MUST have previous property maintenance experience and be comfortable to hit the floor running. A basic salary in the region of £28,000 - £32,000 is offered, and hours of working are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
