Location: Newton Abbot

Salary: Circa £40,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm, with occasional Saturday mornings on a rota basis

We are currently seeking a qualified Chartered Surveyor to join a well-established and reputable practice based in Newton Abbot. This is an excellent opportunity for a professionally qualified individual, ideally with experience in rural practice, to become part of a friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertaking a range of professional surveying duties across rural and general practice work
  • Providing advice on land and property matters
  • Conducting valuations, inspections and reporting
  • Managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service
  • Supporting wider business activities within the practice

Requirements

  • MRICS qualified (essential)
  • Previous experience within a rural practice environment (preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of surveying principles
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
