Our client is a well-established and growing estate agency with a strong reputation for professionalism, integrity and exceptional client service. With an extensive branch network and many years of experience across both legal and property services, they are continuing to grow their successful property team.
They are now seeking an experienced Sales Negotiator to join their team. The successful candidate will be passionate about property, confident working with clients and motivated by delivering excellent results throughout the property-selling process.
The role may be based at one of two branches within the organisation's regional network, depending on operational requirements.
The Role
As a Sales Negotiator, you will play a key role in supporting clients throughout their property sale, from initial listing through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Listing and marketing properties for sale.
- Building strong relationships with clients and managing their expectations throughout the sales process.
- Conducting property viewings and engaging with prospective buyers.
- Negotiating offers and agreeing dates of entry.
- Managing associated administration and sales paperwork.
- Identifying opportunities to introduce and sell additional products and services.
- Providing consistently high levels of customer service.
- Responding to enquiries in person, by telephone and through other channels.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.
- Ensuring all activity is carried out in accordance with relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
You will be someone who enjoys the pace and variety of estate agency and takes pride in helping clients through what can be one of the most significant transactions of their lives.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within estate agency.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively and communicate professionally.
- Excellent organisational, administrative and planning abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
- A positive, energetic and professional approach.
- Resilience and the ability to remain motivated when faced with challenges.
- A collaborative, team-focused attitude.
- The ability to build effective relationships with both clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of the local property market would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time, permanent position. The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the business and will include:
- Monday to Friday working.
- One late evening per week.
- Weekend availability/work as required.
- Working in person at branch locations.
