With over 170 branches nationwide my client is one of the largest, Independent, agencies and over the last 20 years has given them invaluable experience during what has been the most radical and dynamic period in estate agency.

This established high street brand are looking to add an experienced Property Manager to their busy Catford office and team. The successful candidate must be comfortable working under pressure in a busy Letting’s environment, this is a fast paced and varied role which would suit a dynamic, motivated individual. Previous experience in a Lettings or Property Management environment of any kind

Car / driving licence NOT necessary

Property Manager’s responsibilities -

  • Dealing with maintenance and repair requests
  • Ordering and monitoring repair work
  • Dealing with and paying contractors
  • Ensuring all certification is up to date – gas, electricity, EPCs, etc
  • Scheduling, ordering and processing mid-term inspections
  • Keeping the CRM system up to date
  • Ensuring regular payment of rent, processing rent, chasing arrears
  • Landlord and Tenant Support – look after our landlords / tenants
  • Be part of the team, working as a team
  • Deal with all calls as appropriate as part of the team
  • Qualities Good level of experience of estate agency
  • Genuine high attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with all sorts of people in a proactive but friendly way
  • Good level of experience of relating to people in a variety of settings and contexts
  • Patient, positive, problem solver
  • Friendly, unstressed, team player
  • Live within easy commuting distance of SE6
  • Good with IT and quick to learn new IT
  • Knowledge of the Renters’ Reform Act and other key legislation Requirements

Hours

  • 5 days a week
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Office based

Salary:

  • £28,000pa
  • Rises by £1,000pa in April 2027 and again April 2028
