Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dynamic and professional Lettings Valuer / Manager to join their growing property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced property professional, or an individual with strong administration, communication and organisational skills who is looking to develop a career within the lettings sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and maximising rental opportunities, building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, conducting property valuations and overseeing the lettings process from initial instruction through to tenancy.

This role offers uncapped earning potential through a commission scheme on top of the basic salary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct property valuations and market appraisals to determine competitive rental prices.
  • Manage the full lettings process, including property marketing, organising viewings and negotiating tenancy agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Oversee tenancy administration, including documentation, referencing and compliance checks.
  • Lead and support a team of lettings negotiators, helping to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Develop effective marketing strategies to promote available properties across a range of channels.
  • Organise appointments, schedule property viewings and follow up with prospective tenants.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, enquiries and correspondence on the company database.
  • Identify new business opportunities and work proactively to grow the property portfolio.
  • Ensure a professional and efficient service is provided throughout the lettings process.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous administrative experience within estate agency, lettings or property management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in property valuations or lettings management is desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive and professional approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently while also supporting and motivating a team.
  • Confidence dealing with landlords, tenants and other property professionals.
  • Multilingual abilities would be highly advantageous, particularly when working with a diverse client base.
