Our client is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced, ambitious and highly motivated Sales & Lettings Negotiator to join our busy and successful office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has experience within residential lettings and is now looking to develop their career, increase their earning potential and become an important part of a driven and supportive team.
With a competitive basic salary, uncapped commission and bonus opportunities, this role offers genuine potential for a successful negotiator to achieve an OTE of £35,000–£60,000+.
The Role
As a Sales or Lettings Negotiator, you will play a key role in growing our lettings business and delivering an exceptional service to landlords and tenants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Registering and qualifying prospective buyers / tenants
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Following up viewings and negotiating offers
- Building strong relationships with vendor / landlords, buyers / tenants and applicants
- Matching applicants to suitable properties
- Maintaining regular communication with clients throughout the lettings process
- Generating new business opportunities
- Working towards individual and office targets
- Providing a high standard of customer service at all times
- Working closely with the wider team to help grow our lettings portfolio
What We’re Looking For
A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Sales or Lettings Negotiator is essential.
You should also have:
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A confident, professional and positive approach
- Strong negotiation and sales ability
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A motivated and target-driven attitude
- Good PC and administrative skills
- A genuine desire to build a successful long-term career in property
- A full UK driving licence and your own car – essential
