Our client is an industry leading, independent firm of Estate and Letting Agents with great working hours, and they are looking for an experienced Lettings & Property Management person to join their fantastic firm in central Exeter with a basic salary in the region of £30,000 and on target earnings £35,000. Well-known for their dedication to their staff, vendors and tenants, they always strive to exceed expectations through service.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Register new prospective tenants and book appointments
- Conduct viewings of current and proposed properties including direct interaction with tenants and landlords
- Conducting property rental valuations
- Conducting administrative tasks involved in the running of the letting business, which briefly include tenant referencing, production of draft tenancy agreements, checking legally required documentation and related contractual paperwork
- Take calls about and organise repairs and maintenance
- Tenancy renewals
- General property management
- Using IT systems to ensure data is captured and used in a manner to ensure excellent recording and productivity with the office
The ideal candidate:
- Well-presented and excellent communication and written skills
- Minimum of 3 years lettings and property management experience
- Organised with a good attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of the current lettings and property management legislation
- Honest and trustworthy
- Dedicated to delivering first class customer service
- Willingness to go the extra mile
- Be a friendly and approachable team member
Monday to Friday 5.15pm finish and some Saturdays on rota. The Company can offer a fantastic career path and training for the right individual and pride themselves on staff retention and development. They also offer a very competitive salary plus mileage allowance.
