Our client are seeking a motivated Sales & Lettings Negotiator to join a busy, customer-focused estate agency team. This is a dual-role position responsible for generating new business, progressing property sales and lettings, and delivering high-quality service to clients throughout the transaction lifecycle.
The role requires strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work to targets in a fast-paced property environment.
Key Responsibilities- Register and qualify applicants (buyers and tenants), understanding requirements and matching suitable properties
- Conduct property viewings and provide professional feedback to vendors and landlords
- Negotiate offers, agree sales and tenancy terms, and progress deals to completion
- Maintain accurate records on CRM systems and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Generate new instructions through proactive canvassing, referrals and database management
- Build relationships with landlords, vendors, developers and investors
- Support valuation activities and market appraisals where required
- Deliver exceptional service to clients, ensuring a smooth experience from enquiry to completion
- Liaise with solicitors, mortgage brokers, referencing agencies and contractors
- Ensure compliance with lettings legislation, AML procedures and company processes
- Assist with marketing activities including property listings and social media exposure
- Previous experience in estate agency (sales, lettings or both)
- Proven ability to negotiate and close deals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Target-driven with a proactive approach to business generation
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
