With over 170 branches nationwide, my client is one of the largest independent agencies. The last 20 years have given them invaluable experience during what has been the most radical and dynamic period in estate agency. My client is looking for a Tenancy Manager to work with their Property Manager and Lettings team in their Catford office. This role is office based; you do not need to drive.
You will be dealing with:
- Move ins
- Referencing
- Invoices
- AST
- Inventories
- Deposits
- Renewals
- New rent – Negotiate, AST, invoice
- Compliance – AML checks on landlords & tenants, rent guarantees/insurance for both, Right To Rent checks
- Licences – Selective, additional, HMOs – and compliance with these
- Landlord and Tenant Support – Look after our landlords/tenants
You will also cover for the Property Manager (repairs, etc.) when necessary, and answer calls as part of the team (book in sales and lettings viewings).
Qualities:
- Good level of experience of estate agency and the lettings process
- Genuine high attention to detail
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with all sorts of people in a proactive but friendly way
- Good level of experience of relating to people in a variety of settings and contexts
- Patient, positive, problem solver
- Friendly, unstressed, team player
- Live within easy commuting distance of SE6
- Good with IT and quick to learn new IT
- Knowledge of the changes to letting legislation coming up in 2025
Hours Required:
- 5 days a week - Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1 hour lunch)
Salary:
- £28,000
- Rises by £1,000 pa in April 2026 and again April 2027
