With over 170 branches nationwide, my client is one of the largest independent agencies. The last 20 years have given them invaluable experience during what has been the most radical and dynamic period in estate agency. My client is looking for a Senior Sales Negotiator to work in their Catford office covering Catford, Surrey Quays, and Deptford areas. Car/driving licence not necessary, but preferable.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out viewings in a friendly, helpful, proactive way
  • Answer the phone and book in viewings
  • Follow up regularly and systematically with potential buyers
  • Keep sellers updated
  • Update social media platforms with new properties and community information
  • Negotiate offers and sell properties
  • Do some valuations
  • Be part of the team, working as a team

Qualities:

  • Good level of life and work experience (in estate agency and with the sales process)
  • Genuine high attention to detail / diary management / well organised
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with all sorts of people in a proactive but friendly way
  • Good level of experience of relating to people in a variety of settings and contexts
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Patient, positive, problem solver
  • Friendly, unstressed, team player
  • Go the extra mile
  • Good with IT and quick to learn new IT
  • Good with updating social media
  • Live within easy commuting distance of SE6

Requirements:

  • 5 days a week
  • Work most Saturdays (with 1 day off in the week, and 1 Saturday off per month)
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Saturday 9am to 4pm (30 minutes for lunch)

Salary:

Basic £28,000 plus commission OTE £40,000. Car/travel allowance £100 pcm.
