We are looking for Part-time Property Accountant who will play a vital role in managing financial operations for our client who is an independent Estate Agency located in Southend on Sea.

This is an exciting opportunity to ensure accurate accounting practices, and support property operations.

You will work closely with the Director, providing essential financial insights and maintaining precise records to drive informed decision-making.

Duties for Part-time Property Accountant

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets related to property operations.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to Landlords and Contractors.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain detailed records of all financial transactions for multiple properties.
  • Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards across all property accounts.

Experience

  • Property Accountancy experience preferred
  • Strong background in financial accounting and financial services with a focus on property portfolios.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes, financial management systems, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Trustworthy and keen eye for detail.

This role for the Part-Time Property Accountant would be a part-time role with a maximum of 15 hours per week.

Based in the office one day a week, then two days work from home.
