Role: Technology Consultant / Analyst
Location: Belfast, UK
Possibility of remote work: Hybrid, office presence required on need basis (probably between 1-4 days/month)
Duration: 1 year with possible extension
NOTE: The candidates need to have appropriate security clearances already completed (BPSS, SC).
Required Core Skills:
- System Admin with key skills - Storage: Dell Powermax, Vplex, Isilon, eNAS, Cisco/Brocade SAN switch
- Backup: EMC Data domain, Networker, ECS
- Operating Systems: VMWare and LINUX/RedHat
Minimum years of experience: 4+ years
Detailed Job Description:
- Monitoring components of Storage systems including volumes, LUNs, disk and logs.
- Should be responsible for complete Incident, Change Management, Problem Management and Capacity planning. Should be able to plan and execute Disaster recovery.
- Backup management and health checks Monitor backup jobs, schedules and relevant logs and ensure successful backups.
- Storage health checkup.
- Performance monitoring of the storage arrays through console.
- Controller mirroring configuration status from console.
- Troubleshooting.
