Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Automotive powertrain and charging systems electronics architectures
  • Automotive CAN, LIN, Ethernet networks
  • Development and validation experience in Battery pack (HV), Inverter, Motor, OBC
  • Bench and vehicle testing
  • Working experience of various vehicle states and power management systems
  • Working experience of vehicle charging systems.

Tools & Technologies

  • JAMA, DOORS – Requirements management
  • JIRA, Confluence – Task and documentation tracking
  • CAN/LIN analysis tools (e.g. CANalyzer, CANoe)
  • OEM and supplier diagnostic tools

Standards and Compliance Awareness

  • The role operates within established automotive standards and processes, with working awareness of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity), Automotive SPICE, and relevant HVPT and Charging Systems regulations.

Experience Required

  • 7 to 10 years’ automotive systems engineering experience
  • Exposure to OEM or Tier‑1 vehicle feature delivery environments
  • Experience supporting cross-functional and supplier interactions

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
