We are seeking an experienced IT Support and Project Management Specialist with over 10 years of expertise in IT operations, production support, and project management within the Insurance and Finance domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing BAU (Business as Usual) queries, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management, as well as hands-on experience with Verisk Eclipse Underwriting, Sequel Claims, and related applications. This role involves working closely with global clients, underwriters, and development teams to ensure smooth operations, effective problem-solving, and successful implementation of system changes. The candidate will also play a key role in testing, UAT, and pre/post-go-live activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Support & Maintenance: Provide end-to-end production support for Verisk Eclipse Underwriting and Sequel Claims applications. Monitor and resolve issues related to Lloyd’s market/company message loads, scheduled batch job failures, and claims synchronization. Perform data fixes and troubleshoot system errors to improve performance and prevent recurring issues.
- Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with underwriters, development teams, and third-party vendors to implement new releases and system changes. Analyze and understand business requirements, working on Proof of Concept (POC) before implementing changes. Manage UAT, pre/post-go-live activities, and ensure business sign-offs for changes.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Test new features, system changes, and data fixes, ensuring quality and functionality before deployment. Work with QA teams to pilot and refine changes, making adjustments as necessary.
- BAU Support & SLA Management: Provide ongoing BAU support, ensuring adherence to SLAs and timely resolution of queries. Identify common causes of system errors and implement preventive measures.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of Guidewire applications (Policy Center, Claims Center, Billing Center). Experience with time recording and ticketing tools like ServiceNow and Azure DevOps. Extensive experience in the London Insurance Market with a focus on policy administration and claims processes.
