Required Experience

  • Minimum years of experience: 8-10+ years

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst in UK Water Utilities and Energy domains.
  • Good understanding of utility business processes such as billing, metering, CRM, asset management, and customer operations.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Ability to prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, workflow diagrams, and process maps.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to conduct workshops, requirement discussions, and walkthroughs.
  • Hands-on experience in testing activities, including test case preparation, SIT, UAT support, defect tracking, and validation.
  • Ability to ensure complete requirement traceability and quality assurance across project lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Visio, and Excel.
  • Good knowledge of UK utility regulatory and operational environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a client-facing role and coordinate with offshore/onshore teams.
  • Candidate should be willing to work from client location in Coventry.
  • Preferred to have prior experience working with UK utility clients and cross-functional delivery teams.
