Role Overview


We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to design, develop and maintain high-quality Android applications. The successful candidate will work closely with Product, UX/UI, Backend and QA teams to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing mobile applications.


Key Responsibilities



  • Design, develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.

  • Build modern, responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose.

  • Implement clean and scalable Android architecture.

  • Integrate REST APIs and backend services.

  • Develop reusable and maintainable components.

  • Write unit, integration and UI tests.

  • Troubleshoot bugs, crashes and application performance issues.

  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

  • Work closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Backend Developers and QA Engineers.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes.

  • Maintain and improve existing Android applications and legacy code where required.

  • Follow secure coding, accessibility and software engineering best practices.


Mandatory Skills



  • 4+ years of professional Android development experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK.

  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.

  • Experience with Android architecture such as MVVM / MVI / Clean Architecture.

  • Strong understanding of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.

  • Experience integrating REST APIs.

  • Experience with Git and modern development workflows.

  • Experience with JUnit / Espresso or equivalent testing frameworks.

  • Good understanding of Android lifecycle, navigation and application performance.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Retrofit / OkHttp.

  • Room Database.

  • Firebase / Crashlytics.

  • Gradle.

  • GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI or similar CI/CD tools.

  • Experience with mobile application security.

  • Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store.

  • Fintech, banking or payments experience.
