Senior Project Manager Hybrid - Milton Keynes, Rushden, Peterborough or Boston £65,100 per year Permanent, Full-time role As a Senior Project Manager at Amplius, you’ll lead multiple transformation projects, support and develop Project Managers, and work closely with senior stakeholders across Amplius. You’ll have real influence over how we deliver change, improve project quality and build stronger project management capability across the organisation. Salary: £65,100 per year Contract: Permanent, full time Your week: 36.25 hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm Location: Hybrid - weekly office presence in Milton Keynes, Rushden, Peterborough or Boston, with additional attendance as role or stakeholder needs require. You can read about our fantastic colleague benefits here - Amplius colleague benefits Snapshot of your role * Lead and oversee multiple projects and programme-level workstreams, ensuring they are well planned, delivered and successfully closed. * Line manage, coach and develop Project Managers, balancing workloads and building capability across the project management community. * Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, managing expectations and providing clear updates and reports. * Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, resources and budgets, providing guidance to Project Managers and escalating significant concerns when needed. * Ensure projects follow agreed governance, controls and documentation standards, with deliverables meeting quality and business requirements. * Lead lessons learned, post-project reviews and continuous improvement activity to strengthen project delivery and support organisational transformation. What you’ll need to thrive in this role * A recognised Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2, Agile, APM, MSP or similar. * Significant experience delivering transformation, business change or process improvement projects and programmes. * Experience line managing or mentoring Project Managers or other project professionals. * Strong experience managing complex stakeholders, risks, issues, dependencies and resources within a matrix environment. * Strong leadership, communication, organisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coach others, manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure.
