As a Plumber, you'll be carrying out plumbing tasks in Amplius properties helping to provide a reliable and friendly repairs and maintenance service. Salary: £35,530 (for fully qualified Plumbers)
Your week: 39 hours, Monday to Friday
Location: Bedfordshire and surrounding areas
Snapshot of your role:
- Fix leaks and replace taps, baths, cylinders, and water tanks.
- Install and repair hot and cold-water systems in homes.
- Repair and replace external water, waste, and rainwater systems.
- Work on unvented hot water systems.
- Keep work vehicle in good condition and report issues.
- Safely store and maintain tools and equipment.
- Manage and restock materials as needed.
- Use devices (tablet/lone worker) properly and keep them charged.
- Be part of the out-of-hours rota (with extra pay).
Your toolkit for success:
- Deliver excellent customer service with clear communication and a positive, outcome-focused attitude.
- Take ownership of issues, solve problems efficiently, and stay resilient.
- Support and mentor colleagues while working confidently in customer-facing roles.
- Have 2+ years of plumbing experience with relevant qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent).
- Follow Health & Safety regulations and maintain van stock effectively.
- Work independently, using a mobile device to complete tasks and organise work efficiently.
- Be flexible, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing situations.
- A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
- DBS clearance is required for this role.
