Do you have experience in housing enforcement and tenancy law? Join Amplius as a Legal Enforcement Officer and help create safer communities.

Working with housing teams, legal partners and external agencies, you'll provide expert advice, manage enforcement cases and support effective action on tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour.

Your week: 36.25 hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm

Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week in our Milton Keynes, Rushden or Peterborough office.

Covering Northampton, Milton Keynes, Luton, Stevenage and Bedford Courts, with occasional travel across our wider geography as required.

  • Snapshot of your role
  • Advise and support Housing, Community Safety, Compliance and other teams on legal enforcement options.
  • Prepare witness statements, evidence packs and court documents.
  • Work with solicitors, legal representatives and enforcement agencies to progress cases.
  • Represent Amplius at court hearings, case conferences and external meetings.
  • Ensure enforcement activity follows housing law, regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
  • Report on outcomes, risks and lessons learned, sharing best practice across teams.
  • What you’ll need to thrive in this role
  • CIH Level 3 qualification (or be willing to work towards it)
  • Experience and knowledge of housing enforcement services.
  • Strong understanding of Housing and Tenancy Law, including legal documentation and court processes.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of housing regulations and the ability to apply changes in practice.
  • Experience building positive relationships with local authorities and other key partners.
  • Confidence using housing management systems to manage cases and records.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different services.
  • Resilience, sound judgement and the ability to manage complex cases while travelling across a large geographical area when required.

Important - DBS clearance, a full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle and right to work in the UK are all essential requirements. We do not provide sponsorship.
