As a Service Manager at Amplius, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Gainsborough HRS service, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred support for our customers. You will lead and inspire your team, maintain regulatory compliance, and work collaboratively with partners to deliver a service that promotes independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Contract: Fixed Term 12 months

  • Lead the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring compliance with all contractual, regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Deliver a safe, person-centred service where customers receive support aligned to their assessed needs and personal goals.
  • Oversee safeguarding, incidents, complaints, risk management and quality assurance processes, ensuring timely reporting and action.
  • Manage referrals, assessments and support planning, ensuring these are current, meaningful and customer-focused.
  • Provide strong leadership to Community Support Workers, Night Porters, the Estates Officer and Cleaner, ensuring effective supervision, staffing levels and service delivery.
  • Maintain financial oversight including budgets, rent accounts, expenditure monitoring and adherence to Amplius financial procedures.
  • Knowledge of housing-related support services, particularly homelessness.
  • Understanding of regulatory standards, professional boundaries and safeguarding requirements.
  • Ability to manage anti-social behaviour, apply Positive Behaviour Support approaches and empower customers to shape their service.
  • Aware of basic building maintenance and health & safety responsibilities.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office systems including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience of line management within a care, housing or support environment.
  • A full UK driving licence, access to own car and willingness to travel is required.
