Our client is a US-based biopharmaceutical company dedicated to researching and developing medicines to improve patients' lives. We seek a driven, scientifically strong Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with pharmaceutical/biotech experience. The MSL will be part of a global team, acting as an extension of Medical Affairs, providing clinical, scientific, and educational support to healthcare professionals (HCPs) at clinical trial sites and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the oncology community, especially in breast cancer.
Responsibilities:- Deliver education on the client’s company, compounds, and protocols to physicians and support staff to optimize study performance.
- Provide accurate, non-promotional scientific information regarding study drugs and pipeline compounds to study sites, referral networks, and KOLs.
- Respond to medical/technical inquiries from HCPs and study teams using approved resources.
- Stay updated on clinical knowledge, published data, and trial work related to the client and competitors.
- Support education at Site Investigator Meetings and Site Initiation Visits in line with study plans.
- Develop strong communication links with PIs and study physicians, ensuring efficient management of requests and focus on study support.
- Act as a scientific and clinical reference point for study sites and CROs, ensuring alignment and monitoring study performance.
- Support ongoing and future clinical trials, including site visits, enrollment enhancement, and study closure activities.
- Respond to investigator-sponsored research requests per company procedures.
- Enhance the client’s image and professionalism across the territory.
- Education: Physician, Pharmacist, PhD (preferred), MSc or relevant scientific qualification; fluency in English and local language.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in pharma, with experience as an MSL, especially in oncology and breast cancer, managing KOLs and HCPs.
- Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, scientific knowledge, autonomous work ability, project management, and IT skills.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of GXP, GCP, ICH guidelines, and national codes.
- Willingness to travel internationally and hold a valid driver’s license.
