UK Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Reporting to the UK Supply Chain Manager, theSupply Chain Planning Specialistwill manage all the logistics flows and related tasks to support the commercial network of the company, optimize the working capital for hearing aids and other products and partner with the Corporate Supply Chain team.
This is a hybrid working position with 2 days working from home and 3 days in the Support Office at Gatewayhouse, Styal Road.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate the supply chain function shaping the strategy, optimising processes and flows to maximise customer satisfaction while ensuring cost effectiveness and end to end stock management
- Work with the Global Supply Chain Team and the In the UK team to drive the transformation and evolution of the function
- Work with key stakeholders across Amplifon Group to ensure the best local and global agreements are in place
- Establishes and builds key relationships with external suppliers like logistic operators; set up the appropriate governance model and implement routines to drive best in class operations and results in the stores
- Guide and execute the Sales and Operations Planning in the country, incorporate market trends and uplifts in the forecasting process, create awareness on inventory and supply across all levels of the organization
- In line with global guidelines and teams, analyze and forecast future product demands working with marketing, sales, retail operations, business intelligence and finance teams
- Identify and implement the appropriate stock policy, to ensure rotation and optimize working capital and maximise service levels, ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement
- Manage the return process, identify the best possible options for having a sustainable process that minimise waste while keeping operations in store smooth and simple
- Provide periodic analyses and reporting on inventory performance and monitor the stock trends with different granularity.
- Control and improve the logistic flow;identify system and process weaknesses and develop suggestions for optimization
- Work alongside central warehouse specialist to ensure optimal stock ordering in line with demand to satisfy store consumption
- Executing supply chain best practices & measuring performance through agreed upon KPIS
- Ensure all logistics activities are on time and cost effective
- Activley looking at globally agreed supply chain savings targets by reducing costs including obsolescence, Transport/Logistics and return fee penalties
- Collaborate with finance to ensure alignment on the stock reconciliation & inventory management
What experience is ideal?
- Supply Chain Management qualification or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a similar function (Forecasting/Demand planning/Supply/Logistics/Controlling)
