Amplifi Talent are partnering with an established family business to recruit a high calibre CFO on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving the group's continued growth and expansion, working closely with the CEO and wider Leadership Team. This is a high-profile position in a fast-paced, multi-site SME, and therefore requires a senior finance leader who can clearly evidence first-class strategic, commercial, and operational delivery in a similar business environment.
Our client has set ambitious growth plans in place, which requires a finance function that is fit for now and the future. The incoming CFO will be tasked with further improving financial management and reporting, providing detailed data analysis and management information, leading and developing people, and acting as a true business partner to key stakeholders and the leadership team.
An excellent work ethic, a transformational leadership approach, and the confidence and commercial acumen to appropriately contribute to and challenge decision making at Board level, will be critical attributes and essential to success.
Applications are invited from senior finance professionals who have operated at FD / CFO level in a high growth SME. Experience of working with PE/debt providers would be beneficial.
Preferred candidate requirements:- Proven FD or CFO, with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Experienced in leading cultural change, empowering teams and enhancing engagement.
- Team player who can act as strategic support and partner.
- Ability to implement and manage financial controls and reporting frameworks.
- Ability to develop and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- Strong understanding of working capital management.
- Strategic outlook and value-add financial reporting.
- Margin optimisation and other commercial initiatives to drive value creation.
- Proficiency in ERP and financial software relevant to mid-market businesses.
- Track record of building best-in-class finance functions.
