Amplifi Talent is partnering with a leading healthcare group to recruit a high-calibre CFO on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving the group's continued growth and expansion, working closely with the CEO and wider Leadership Team. This high-profile position in a fast-paced, multi-site SME requires a senior finance leader who can demonstrate first-class strategic, commercial, and operational delivery in a similar business environment.

The client has set ambitious growth plans, necessitating a finance function that is prepared for now and the future. The incoming CFO will be responsible for enhancing financial management and reporting, providing detailed data analysis and management information, leading and developing teams, and acting as a true business partner to key stakeholders and the leadership team.

Essential attributes for success include an excellent work ethic, transformational leadership, and the confidence and commercial acumen to contribute to and challenge decision-making at Board level. Applications are invited from senior finance professionals who have operated at FD / CFO level in a high-growth SME. Experience working with PE/debt providers would be advantageous.

Preferred Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven FD or CFO with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading cultural change, empowering teams, and enhancing engagement.
  • Team player capable of acting as strategic support and partner.
  • Ability to implement and manage financial controls and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience in developing and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
  • Strong understanding of working capital management.
  • Strategic outlook with value-add financial reporting.
  • Experience in margin optimisation and other commercial initiatives to drive value creation.
  • Proficiency in ERP and financial software relevant to mid-market businesses.
  • Track record of building best-in-class finance functions.
