Our client is seeking an Electrical Supervisor / PM to support the successful delivery of electrical packages across a range of commercial, industrial and construction projects. This role combines day-to-day site leadership with broader project coordination responsibilities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality and commercial requirements. The successful candidate will act as a key point of coordination between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and project leadership, helping to drive delivery from installation through to commissioning and handover. This opportunity would suit an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking to broaden their responsibilities and progress into wider project delivery or Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Delivery & Supervision
- Manage and coordinate electrical installation teams on live projects
- Ensure works are progressing in line with programme requirements and key milestones
- Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractor activities
- Monitor site productivity, quality and installation progress
- Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Ensure works are completed in line with required standards and project expectations
- Support short-term programme planning and delivery sequencing
- Coordinate with wider site teams and subcontractors to maintain project progress
- Identify and escalate delivery risks or site issues
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress and resource requirements
- Support commissioning activities and handover preparation
- Ensure compliance with all site safety procedures and standards
- Deliver toolbox talks and site briefings where required
- Ensure RAMS, permits and safe systems of work are followed
- Promote a strong health and safety culture across site teams
- Support material planning and labour allocation
- Monitor and report variations, delays and scope changes
- Maintain accurate site records and progress reporting
- Support commercial teams with delivery updates and project information
Candidate Profile
- Fully qualified electrician with strong experience across commercial, industrial or construction projects
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Experience managing electrical installation teams on live projects
- Strong understanding of drawings, specifications and installation sequencing
- Good organisational and planning capability
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivery
Desirable
- Experience delivering electrical packages within commercial, industrial or large-scale construction environments
- Exposure to coordinated project delivery and multi-trade site environments
- Experience supporting commissioning, testing and project handover activities
- Awareness of programme planning and site delivery sequencing
- Commercial awareness, including variations, scope changes and cost implications
