Amplifi Talent is delighted to be working with a rapidly expanding MedTech business in Midlothian. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team, supporting their CFO through the period of rapid growth.
Joining a business at this stage, you will have a chance to put your stamp on processes, so ideally you will be someone who loves looking at current processes and improving them.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and reconciling invoices and payments
- Managing the credit control processes
- Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring
- Preparing financial reports and statements
- Assisting with payroll and employee expense reporting
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Performing other financial duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software, Xero would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
