We are supporting a major public sector organisation delivering a large-scale transformation programme and are looking to engage 3 experienced contractors to join a high-profile data and architecture workstream. These roles offer the opportunity to shape enterprise-wide data capabilities, influence strategic decision-making, and deliver meaningful outcomes within a complex national-scale environment.

- 1 x Senior Consultant – Architecture Leadership
We are seeking a senior-level consultant to provide end-to-end architectural leadership across a complex customer and enterprise data landscape. You will be responsible for defining target-state architecture, establishing governance frameworks, aligning multiple delivery programmes, and providing strategic direction across identity, entity, permissions and customer data domains. - 1 x Consultant – Data Architecture
We are looking for a consultant with strong hands-on data architecture experience to support the design, modelling and integration of enterprise data solutions. You will work across data models, system interfaces, integration mapping, data flows, and architecture artefacts to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions aligned to wider organisational strategy. - 1 x Consultant – Data Governance
We are seeking a consultant with data governance expertise to support controls, standards, assurance and ownership across critical data assets. You will help establish governance processes, documentation standards, lineage, controls, compliance evidence, and knowledge transfer across the programme.
Key Responsibilities Across the Roles
- Develop current-state, interim-state and target-state data architecture roadmaps
- Define and document enterprise data flows, integrations and critical datasets
- Establish governance frameworks, design guardrails and decision records
- Support data modelling, integration mapping and solution assurance
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy and information governance standards
- Maintain version-controlled documentation and clear ownership models
- Enable successful handover to internal teams through effective knowledge transfer
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams
Required Experience
- Strong consulting background within large, complex organisations
- Proven experience delivering enterprise data architecture or governance initiatives
- Ability to operate across multiple stakeholders and programmes
- Strong documentation, governance and communication skills
- Public sector experience desirable
- Eligibility for SC Clearance is essential
Contract Details
- Start: June 2026
- Duration: 11 months
- Engagement: Full-time, 5 days per week
- Rate: Dependant on experience
- Location: Remote, with a monthly day trip to Bristol or London
- Status: Outside IR35
