- Support FCAârelated audits, reviews, and reporting by providing evidence, documentation, and subjectâmatter expertise on data controls.
- Own dataârelated risk assessments, ensuring risks are identified, documented, mitigated, and escalated appropriately.
- Drive data protection focused processes and provide guidance across the organisation, helping teams understand regulatory expectations and make informed, compliant use of data.
- Oversee the delivery of data pipelines, integrations, and solutions, ensuring they remain compliant, secure, and fit for purpose.
- Lead enhancements to data systems and processes as part of ongoing digital transformation and continuous improvement.
- Manage thirdâparty data vendors, ensuring due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and contractual compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Champion a culture of data responsibility and ethical use, ensuring customer outcomes, fairness, and transparency are at the centre of all data practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data management or data governance roles within financial services, consumer lending, or fintech environments.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modelling, system integration, and enterpriseâlevel governance frameworks.
- Practical experience producing dashboards, management information, and regulatoryâaligned operational reporting.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and translate regulatory, legal, and business needs into effective data solutions.
