In this role you will adopt an API‑first approach, collaborate closely with SREs, platform teams, and product stakeholders, and work extensively with AWS and DataDog. Key Responsibilities

  • Observability & Monitoring (DataDog) – Create and maintain dashboards, alerts, logs, and distributed traces to ensure service health and visibility and use them to fault‑find and investigate issues.
  • CI/CD (GitHub Actions) – Develop, design, and operate continuous integration and continuous delivery processes for testing and deploying software.
  • API‑First Development – Design and work with clear, consistent APIs that support customer journeys and cross‑team integrations.
  • Understanding the Customer Journey – Work with product teams to understand end‑to‑end flows and ensure reliability improvements have meaningful user impact.
  • Adopting SRE Practices – Contribute to building SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, resilience patterns, automation, and operational readiness checks.
  • Rapid Project Onboarding – Quickly understand and contribute to systems, domains, and codebases with minimal ramp‑up time.
  • Operational Excellence – Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities to reduce toil and enhance reliability.
