For decades the textile industry has accepted a dirty secret: to make fabrics waterproof you need PFAS ("forever chemicals"), and to make them colourful you need hazardous dyes and vast amounts of water. At AMPHICO, we don't accept that trade-off, so we engineered it away. Amphitex™ is our PFAS-free waterproof breathable membrane: all the performance of the materials in your favourite outdoor gear, none of the forever chemicals, and designed from day one to be recycled. Amphicolor™ is colour without the water: broader palettes, predictable results, no toxic chemistry. Two technologies, one mission, and an industry actively looking for exactly this as regulation and consumer pressure push toxic chemistry out of the supply chain.

The Role & What we are looking for

We are looking for a Project / Delivery Manager to sit inside our teams, not above them. AMPHICO is a small, fast-moving company where design, technical product development and commercial work overlap daily. This role keeps that overlap productive: setting the rhythm, surfacing blockers early, and making sure decisions, dependencies and handoffs happen when they need to. This is a delivery role in the agile sense rather than a traditional project management role. You won’t own a single plan handed down from above; you’ll be embedded across several workstreams at once, coordinating fast-paced multidisciplinary teams and keeping momentum without adding process weight.

A core part of the job is connecting live commercial activity to R&D: as partner and customer conversations move, you make sure that movement translates into clear, prioritised tasking for the technical team. We care more about mindset than years on a CV. If you are earlier in your career but have real experience keeping cross-functional teams moving, are comfortable with ambiguity, and have a bias toward action, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the delivery engine across multiple teams simultaneously: run the cadence (planning, weekly updates, retrospectives), keep priorities visible, and keep teams unblocked and aligned.
  • Building out new processes to support this or refining existing processes to optimise the output.
  • Connect live commercial movements alongside product development tasking: as partner, customer and pipeline activity develops, translate it into concrete, prioritised tasking, that is balanced alongside R&D activities.
  • Design the tasks so the technical team is always working on what matters commercially.
  • Translate strategic goals from leadership into clear, lightweight plans with owners and timelines, without slowing teams down.
  • Identify risks and dependencies early; flag delays, chase decisions, and reallocate effort to maintain momentum.
  • Maintain simple, reliable tracking (roadmaps, OKRs, dashboards) that reflects reality rather than aspiration.
  • Support the team in gathering product insights, pain points and requirements to feed product iteration.
  • Act as the central node of communication across design, technical, commercial and operations, ensuring transparency and shared understanding of who owns what.
  • Roll your sleeves up on operational and logistical needs; in a company our size, everyone does.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 2+ years in delivery management, agile delivery, project or product coordination, ideally in a high-growth startup or R&D-led environment.
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams and keeping several workstreams moving at once.
  • Comfortable being inside many teams at once: adapting your style to designers, engineers, scientists and commercial colleagues rather than imposing one process on all of them.
  • Able to follow live commercial activity and translate it into clear technical tasking and priorities. This is essential.
  • Working knowledge of agile ways of working (sprints, retrospectives, iterative planning) and the judgement to apply them lightly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to state trade-offs clearly and keep focus amidst change.
  • Bias toward action; comfortable making real-time decisions with incomplete information and course-correcting quickly.
  • Solutions-oriented self-starter with a passion for sustainable technologies.
  • Experience in textiles, fashion, or materials-based product development.
  • Experience working between commercial and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with iterative R&D and design development practices.
  • Agile delivery qualifications (e.g. Scrum Master, Agile PM) nice to have, not required.
  • Experience coordinating international teams across different timezones.
  • Familiarity with Notion.

Salary & Terms

We are open to candidates with less traditional PM tenure who bring the right mindset and pace.
