Role Overview
The assistant will coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate information for production and budgeting, while maintaining compliance with quality and environmental certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management – Oversee stock levels and manage deliveries to meet timelines.
- Material Delivery – Supply production lines with required materials promptly.
- Procurement – Analyze reports, place orders, confirm documentation, and negotiate terms.
- Supplier Management – Maintain accurate supplier data and set up new accounts.
- Compliance Support – Contribute to quality and environmental certification efforts.
- System Maintenance – Keep MRP/ERP updated with current specifications.
- Materials Manager Assistance – Manage work order database, update lead times, and support KPI reporting.
- Policy Adherence – Uphold company policies, conduct stock counts, and ensure safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum GCSE in English & Maths.
- Knowledge of company systems, e.g., MRP/ERP.
- Highly accurate data management and reporting.

- Strong numerical and verbal literacy.
