Amphenol Martec is looking for a Plating Operator to join our Operations team in Whitstable. This role involves electroplating and metal finishing of components to Martec’s high-quality standards, following company policies and procedures. While the primary focus is wiring, there is an exciting opportunity to learn plating processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and follow all relevant documentation for plating and finishing processes
- Adhere strictly to company manufacturing, health & safety, and quality procedures
- Follow the production plan and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and apply correct jigging and wiring/barrelling methods
- Safely handle chemicals within the plating department
- Use x-ray spectrometer and other equipment to measure plating thickness and perform visual inspections
- Maintain compliance with health & safety rules and company standards
What We’re Looking For
