The Vacancy:

Purpose of the role

To support the Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader playing an active role in the delivery of continuous improvement, innovation and supporting NPIs in the Manufacturing Engineering team.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for a minimum of two specific continuous improvement/innovation or NPI projects, with responsibility of delivering to project scope including project planning, costing, identifying and liaising with potential suppliers (in house or otherwise), design and conduct of trials, inspect and identify process improvement and delivery to defined success criteria.
  • Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.
Person Specification
  • Student having completed two years of BEng/BSc level qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Scientific subject.
  • Driven and responsible individual who can manage self and multiple tasks prioritising as required to ensure projects are delivered on time and cost.
  • Able to attend site in Whitstable Kent, to support their own learning and contributions to team.
