Amphenol Canada Corp. is a Fortune 500 Company and one of the largest manufacturers of interconnect products in the world. We design, manufacture and market electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors, coaxial and flat-ribbon cable, and interconnect systems.

Responsible for driving U.S. revenue growth of ACC Aerospace Products and Filter Connectors, with the US sales teams daily. Liaise between customer, sales force and ACC Marketing. Coordinate visits with the US Sales force. Coordinate ACC approach to ITAR sensitive customer issues. Developing and executing annual sales plans and championing the execution of sales programs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and have stability and persistence. Due to the nature of this position, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-confident individual with a neat, well-dressed and professional appearance. The job requires significant people contact and pressure to increase design wins and sales growth.

What does a Regional Business Development Manager do?

  • Travel with sales teams (50–75% of the time) to develop and grow business opportunities
  • Manage and coordinate with regional sales representatives, support their regional activities for ACC
  • Monitor design-in and take-share opportunities, as well as quotations and major orders
  • Responsible for all territory reporting, order management, quotes, and forecasts
  • Lead quoting and order activity, including cost and margin analysis
  • Drive ACC initiatives and focus on partnership with U.S. sales teams
  • Liaise with customers, sales teams, and ACC Marketing to deliver effective technical solutions
  • Collaborate with distribution partners, internal teams, and product marketing to support business goals
  • Coordinate customer visits and expand the regional customer base
  • Provide regular updates and reports on regional sales and business development activities

What you bring to the table:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in a technical sales or marketing role within the filter or connector industry
  • Proficiency in cost and margin analysis
  • Strong report writing, presentation, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Familiarity with working alongside sales representative firms and shared direct sales organizations (preferred)
