Sales Representative – The Role: As a Sales Representative, you’ll support the EMEA Sales Manager and collaborate with AAS Representation (REP) teams in Scandinavia, the UK, Ireland, and Poland. Working with European Account Managers and the Customer Care Team, you’ll manage a $2M portfolio of small to medium-sized customers and contribute to a $10M MEA sales portfolio. Your focus will be on driving pipeline growth, localising marketing efforts with Product Managers, and managing the $10M REP business. Sales Representative – Key Responsibilities: – Be responsible for the daily Sales support of our small and medium sized customers across EMEA – Develop plans to support the growth and maintain share of these accounts – Partner with the Account Managers Europe to maintain business and grow share for large strategic customers – Support the Account Manager EMEA with the annual Business meetings with our REP – Seek answers internally to prevent and fix urgent and potential upcoming problems – Qualify new customer leads and share with the Account Managers with strong focus on solid pipeline generation – Support our Global Marketing Manager in the US to support our social media marketing/promotion activities in Europe – Support the Sales teams with product samples at International Business Shows – Proactively calling customers and prospects to promote our 3 major Product Lines – Obtain enquiries, answer questions and have the Customer Care Team prepare, in a timely way, the requested quotations to win orders – Apply an understanding of the Advanced Sensor product lines to educate customers and facilitate good customer decision making – Be part of technical discussions with the Sales Account Managers and the FAE’s with potential clients – Support our new CRM HubSpot to become our HubSpot Super-user Sales Representative – About You: – Degree Qualification (BS / BA or equivalent) – Experience in telesales/lead generation, qualification and quantification – Commercial experience – Customer centric mind-set, focused on building and improving customer relationships – Proactive approach to identifying additional opportunities for growing new and existing small customers – Strong communication skills – Outstanding interpersonal skills that enable working relationships externally (customers) and internally (the Amphenol Teams) – Microsoft Office computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint to a good standard – High volume electronic component sales and preferably sensor sales experience – Fluency in a second European language, preferably German or French – Ability to work across teams to utilise resources and maximise efficiency within your sales territory – Experience working with a CRM, preferably HubSpot – must already have the right to work in the UK Sales Representative – Benefits: – 26 days annual holiday + Public Holidays – Group Life Assurance – Group Income Protection – Free car parking Application Process: To be eligible for this role, you must already have the right to work in the UK.
