Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2025–2026 school year. We offer part-time and full-time positions, exclusively in-person. As a women and therapist-founded company supporting schools nationwide and local to Virginia, our goal is to elevate your school-based experience. Position Details
- Schedule: Part-time and full-time, Monday through Friday
- Location: In-person, Norfolk Public School District, VA
- Start Date: 2025-26 school year and 2026-27 school year
- Service Area: Student evaluations, IEP reports and meetings, progress reports, staff meetings, and collaboration
Your Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations
- Prepare IEP reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Track and deliver progress reports
- Attend staff meetings and support multi-disciplinary collaboration
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or equivalent degree
- Eligible for certification by the Virginia Department of Education for an endorsement in School Psychology or be licensed by the Virginia Board of Psychology
- Strong skills in student assessment, data analysis, and IEP development
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
