Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.
The selected candidate will be part of a core team responsible for publishing and maintaining client’s external-facing website. This role partners closely with content owners across the organization to design, format, and publish approved web content. The candidate will also support ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility, optimize search performance, and provide insights through analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update website content using the Sitecore Content Management System (CMS).
- Design, format, and publish approved content within Sitecore and complementary tools.
- Ensure proper page structure, navigation, and linking to deliver an optimal user experience.
- Manage content libraries, including organization, version control, and asset maintenance.
- Apply client’s style guide to ensure brand consistency; review and validate content for accuracy, grammar, and compliance with brand standards.
- Confirm all required approvals are obtained before content is published.
- Identify and resolve issues such as broken links, missing assets, and accessibility noncompliance (WCAG).
- Perform routine content audits to ensure accuracy, relevance, and functionality.
- Implement SEO best practices including metadata, alt text, headings, and internal linking.
- Optimize images and media for accessibility, performance, and responsiveness across devices.
- Troubleshoot CMS- and site-related issues; escalate technical problems as necessary.
- Support testing of new components, templates, and site functionality prior to deployment.
- Monitor and report on content performance using tools such as Siteimprove, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity.
- Website design, layout, and content authoring using Sitecore or similar Content Management System (CMS).
- Strong understanding of web content best practices, SEO principles, accessibility guidelines, UX, responsive design.
- Use digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SiteImprove, Microsoft Clarity, etc.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
- Administer website search engine – we use Coveo.
- Usability testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in web design/development, Digital Marketing/Communications, or equivalent technical training and experience.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a web content & designer role.
- Nice to have prior utilities focused experience supporting web content and design but not required.
