Join to apply for the Productivity & Collaboration Specialist role at Ampa - Legal & Professional Services 1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Productivity & Collaboration Specialist role at Ampa - Legal & Professional Services Ampa (home of Shakespeare Martineau, Marrons, Mayo Wynne Baxter and more) are seeking an experienced Modern Workplace/ Productivity & Collaboration Specialist with a deep understanding of the End-user compute area covering Microsoft 365, End-point management and Microsoft based identity and access management systems. Your Role Will Be To Support the Head of Productivity & Collaboration in the design, deployment, and operation of services within the team’s scope. Performs a subject matter expert role for Microsoft365, Identity and end-point management platforms ensuring that services are designed and delivered in line with compliance, security, and end-user expectations. Plays a key role in establishment of the new P&C function and supports the broader transformation efforts within the Technical Operations function. Works closely with partners and vendors to ensure services delivered to Ampa Group are designed and delivered to quality, time, and compliance requirements. Where necessary, support Ampa IT colleagues and partners to ensure operational issues are resolved in a timely manner, minimising thus business impact. Works with compliance and Information security teams to ensure P&C platforms are configured and managed in-line with group security guidelines. Maintains a key focus on end-user experience to ensure P&C platforms are providing maximum benefit to the business in-line with our CIO’s vision. Role Priorities Support on-going transition to Ampa groups new managed workspace platform (Win11, M365, Intune, AutoPilot). Play a lead role in the development of Ampa groups end-point asset management capability. Support shift left activities to ensure P&C can focus on strategic activities. Support management with developing its Modern Workplace management capabilities within the P&C team. Support P&C management in the development of overall service strategy. Ensure P&C services are adequately documented, managed, and monitored. Support P&C management with communication to IT and business stakeholders. Hybrid meeting support - Work with P&C management and partners to review and develop meeting room audio / visual capabilities Key Accountabilities This role sits within the newly established Productivity & Collaboration function, part of the CIO Technology Operations organisation. Identity Management – Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID and associated systems Support management with establishing an identity management capability within the P&C team. Ensure the existing identity service and its configuration is fully documented. Work with IT colleagues and partners to ensure usage and management is in-line with best-practise and information security standards. Support the transition and adoption of Entra ID across the group as needed. Work closely with compliance and infosec teams to ensure identity platforms and policies are secure and operational risks are fully mitigated. Work with the Service Management team to review and implement identity related changes. Represent the P&C team in discussions and projects for identity related matters. Where required, support troubleshooting efforts for issues relating to identity management. Productivity Apps (M365 +Others) Provide technical support for development and deployment of new productivity apps and services. Support management with the transition of M365 services ownership to the P&C team. Work with IT colleagues and partners to ensure service usage and management is in-line with best-practise and information security standards. Support P&C management in the development of roadmaps and service strategies. Document tenant configuration and provide support for changes and issues. Collaborate closely with vendors (Microsoft +others) to understand application roadmap and to support changes through application evolution. End-Point Management Function as subject matter export for End-point management platforms and processes deployed within Ampa Group, for example Intune, AutoPilot, Apple Business Manager, PatchMyPC + others. Review existing configuration policies to ensure they align with business need and Infosec guidelines. Support P&C management with the establishment of a comprehensive asset management platform. Function as technical contact for vendors in relation to end-point management related matters. Support the Technical Operations organisation with the design and deployment of any Digital Experience Management tools as required. Service management Support the Ampa service delivery team as needed for any issues relating to our modern workplace platform. Function as technical liaison for vendors for any configuration changes or problems that require detailed analysis. What You Will Need Experience in endpoint management technologies for PC, Mac, and mobile devices (Intune, Apple Business Manager). Experience of M365 E5 productivity apps – EXO, Teams, SPO, OneDrive + others. Experience of Microsoft identity platforms and services: Active Directory, AzureAD/EntraID, Microsoft MFA. Experience of Digital Experience Management tools is highly desirable (NexThink, Aternity for example). Experience of managing users in a multi domain/tenant environment. Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate to all levels of the organisation. Experience of workplace transformation programs covering end-user computing and workplace productivity tools. Ability to prioritise and work effectively with minimal supervision. Experience of deploying and managing Microsoft Teams based meeting room systems. Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes and experience of using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
