Meet the team
The Serious Injury team sits within our Consumer Business (LIME), which in turn sits within our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. The team deals with some of the most complex and highâprofile personal injury claims nationally and won Catastrophic Injury Team of the year at the 2023 national Personal Injury Awards.
The Role
Working as part of a team to provide assistance on claimant personal injury work with a focus on serious injury and major trauma work. Assisting with running caseloads from start to finish, liaising with clients and instructing experts e.g. medical experts and barristers, negotiating with the other side, and preparing cases for trial as appropriate.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Ideally 1-3 years' experience in dealing with serious injury, major trauma work (claimant).
- The desire and enthusiasm to be involved in business development and attending client events.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to demonstrate empathy when required.
- A high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a fastâmoving environment.
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills.
