The Role:
Working as part of a large and friendly team you will be providing assistance on all aspects of training and compliance, supporting an exceptionally busy and growing team. Due to significant growth in the department we are seeking an inspiring training and compliance assistant to support the manager. This is a varied role that requires someone who is keen with both face-to-face delivery of training sessions, but also ready for the next stage of their career and keen to embrace writing content and course material on areas identified for improvement as well as implementation of new processes and initiatives. As an integral part of the team you will be keen to not only assist the manager with the day-to-day responsibilities, but will also be hands-on in the improvement of processes and team development, ensuring all team members have the appropriate support and tools in order to achieve maximum performance. The ability to embrace positive change, naturally influence and work collaboratively with the team is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the whole DART team training, including the running of different team wide initiatives, ensuring team training is recorded and all training material is up to date and relevant
- Delivering the Induction Programme for new starters, including reviewing and developing the programme and material periodically
- Conducting the team wide quality assurance, including call and file audits, feedback sessions with the team and clients, complaint reviews, customer journey audits, bulk client audits and feeding back results to management
- Monitoring team training needs/skills gaps/efficiency of working utilising the capability matrix
- Developing the buddy system and induction programme to ensure ongoing training within the team is captured
- Implementing and delivering new training programmes in line with client and team needs
- Management of supplier governance, including supplier quality audits, supplier on site audits and onboarding of new suppliers and managing the relationships
- Assisting in sharing best practice and knowledge within the team
- Assisting with onboarding new clients and the risk and process management of this
- Assisting in dealing with and attending client compliance and due diligence audits
- Drafting, reviewing and implementing new and existing policies owned by the Training and Compliance team
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Experience from within a debt recovery, collections environment
- Previous training experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, clear and concise, in both written and verbal
- To be a team player, personable and approachable demeanour
- Self-starter with a can do attitude
- Competent with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
