The role: The Internal Communications Manager is accountable for leading the planning and delivery of Ampa’s internal communications activity across the group. The role exists to ensure colleagues are informed, engaged and aligned to Ampa’s strategy, priorities and culture. It plays a central role in translating business direction into clear, relevant and timely communications that help people understand what matters, why it matters and what is expected of them. Working across our House of Brands, the role supports organisational alignment, leadership visibility and effective change communications. It ensures internal messaging is consistent, well-coordinated and connected to Ampa’s wider strategic narrative. The role partners closely with the Head of Communications & Investor Relations, Group CEO, Executive, People teams and business leaders to deliver communications that strengthen trust, enable change and support a connected colleague experience across hubs and brands.
What we’re looking for: This role would suit an existing Internal Communications Manager who is used to driving internal communications via a variety of channels and to a diverse audience; someone who can work strategically to align communications to business priorities and colleague needs. You will bring:
- Proven experience in internal communications within a complex organisation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging and accessible messages.
- Experience of supporting leadership communications and working with senior stakeholders in a confident and credible way.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage communications activity across multiple channels and deadlines.
- Experience of change communications, with the ability to support engagement and clarity during periods of transformation.
- A data and insight led approach using feedback and performance measures to improve outcomes.
- A collaborative, proactive and resilient mindset with strong attention to detail and a practical approach to delivery.
