The Role: To work as part of the Central Support Team, providing a high-quality and efficient range of administrative and operational support services across the business. The role will primarily support the Volume Administration Team but will also provide assistance across other Central Support functions as required, ensuring excellent service delivery, accuracy and compliance with agreed processes and service standards. The Central Support Specialist will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, maintaining data integrity across firm systems, supporting operational processes and contributing to the effective delivery of business support services.

What you will be doing:

  • Undertaking a variety of administrative and operational support tasks for the Volume Administration Team and wider Central Support function.
  • Creating, inputting, updating and maintaining accurate information within the firm's systems and databases.
  • Processing and managing administrative requests in line with agreed procedures and service level expectations.
  • Supporting workflow and task management activities to ensure work is completed accurately and within required timescales.
  • Assisting with document management, file administration and data maintenance activities.
  • Supporting system record creation, amendments and ongoing housekeeping to ensure data accuracy.
  • Liaising effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business to resolve queries and provide updates.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working to support operational efficiency.
  • Providing flexible support across Central Support teams during periods of increased workload, absences or business demand.
  • Undertaking any other duties commensurate with the role.

What you will need:

  • Experience working in an administrative, business support or operational support role, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
  • The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines whilst remaining calm and professional.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support different teams and functions as business needs require.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
