We have an exciting opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor within our Corporate team. This role offers the chance to work closely with experienced lawyers on high-quality matters, while developing your own caseload and building strong client relationships from the outset of your career. You will receive appropriate supervision and support, alongside genuine responsibility and exposure to a broad range of work.
The Team
Our Corporate and Commercial group undertakes corporate, commercial, tax, banking and employment work at all levels. Our specialist teams are well-known in their respective regions for the calibre of their advice, and frequently combine to provide cross-discipline and cross-office solutions to meet our clients' needs. Our Corporate team acts for financial institutions, SMEs, owner managed businesses and PLCs on all aspects of corporate law from M&A and governance issues, to Equity Capital Markets and group restructurings. We are also involved in an increasing number of cross-border transactions.
What you will be doing:
- Working alongside senior lawyers to support a wide range of matters
- Assisting on large and complex transactions, with appropriate supervision
- Managing your own caseload of more straightforward matters as you develop
- Handling client and internal enquiries efficiently and professionally
What you will need:
- Completion of a training contract (essential)
- Strong IT skills and confidence using case management systems
- Ability to manage files accurately and efficiently
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to legal work
